• The customer request is authenticated, schema-valid, and stored once.
• Every authorized SMS turn has a durable provider message reference.
• Twilio delivery callbacks and patient replies are signature-verified and deduplicated.
• The reply is attached to the originating case through a durable channel binding.
• Silence produces a durable wait-deadline signal and at most one follow-up.
• Any ambiguity is resolved through grounded dialogue or a typed escalation.
• Customer-system reconciliation is verified before the outcome is returned.
